Welcome to the Aether!

In Physics, the Aether was a theorized medium through which forces propagated.

It was the leading theory of for how electromagnetism worked from the mid 19th century until the early 20th century, though was abruptly discarded when Einstein's theory of relativity was introduced.

Though these theories were a crucial part in  the development of modern physics they were discarded quite abruptly, giving them a bad reputation.

In this Website I will try and unravel the mysteries of the aether, and try and show you a  glimpse at  the corpse of a discarded theory in physics.
